Apple is the most valuable brand

Forbes announces – Apple is the most valuable brand. Global technology major, Apple stands atop among the top 50 world’s most valuable brands.

Apple nudges the brand behemoths including Microsoft and Coca-Cola to move to the top. The top list of 50 brands have 32 US brands and there are 9 American brands even in the top 10. No Indian brand has featured in the 50. 

Technology major Apple is one brand that suffered severe setbacks yet bounced back and befittingly the top most valuable brand in the world. Forbes notes that Apple is worth $57.4 billion. Forbes further notes that Apple is survived despite stumbling by the parent company. It should also be noted that technology brands account for 30% among the top 50 brands and 4 among the top 5 places. Besides finance and food and beverage brands too occupied 6 spots .

Apple is followed by the IT major Microsoft and its brand value is placed at $56.6 billion. The beverage firm Coca Cola finds itself in the third place with $55.4 billion brand value then followed by IBM, which is now $43 billion worth and Googletakes the 5th spot with $39.7 billion brand value.

The other 5 companies in the top 10 include Mc Donald’s ($35.9 billion), General Electric ($33.7 billion), Marlboro($29.1 billion), Intel($28.6 billion) and the last in the top 10 is by Finnish mobile handset maker Nokia with $27.4 billion brand worth.
