Michigan: Detroit: Seven people, five among them high school students, were hurt in a bus-stop shooting event in Detroit.
According to police chief Roderick Grimes, two of the injured were said to be in critical condition; the other injured too were admitted at hospitals said to be in serious condition.
The perpetrators who came in a vehicle got down with their vehicles, asked for one person and then indiscriminately opened fire.
Once they finished their firing they got back into their vehicle (supposed to be a minivan, green colored) and fled the scene. The persons were identified to be males but covered their faces with masks or cloth.
According to police officials the incident happened close to Cody High School at around 2:30 p.m. noon before the summer school classes ended for the day on Tuesday.
According to police, no one was taken to immediate custody.
Parents expressed concern to send their children to the summer school classes, but Detroit Public Schools authorities reassured them and said the school would resume as usual on Wednesday.
