Google Instant feature becomes live. The Google search accelerator will have a new feature called Google Instant which hastens the appearance of display results searched by users.
The new Google Instant Feature nearly reads the searchers’/users’ minds to give the search results instantaneously with almost near accuracy according to the developers. Google co-founder Sergey Brin, was quoted of saying, “I think it’s a little bit of a new dawn in computing.”
The Instant search feature also means that the users will have an overwhelming set of results that keep evolving as each character is typed or edited, which according to Brin, could very well lessen the searching time. The official google blog says that Google Instant feature saves about 2-5 seconds time every search.
While Google tries to predict users’ searches, it will also give the suggested search requests just like it had been doing so for the last couple of years.
Google Instant feature will be first given to US users and then will be given to rest of the web users. Furthermore, the Instant feature has been designed and tested on the latest versions of all major Web browsers.
Also those users who like to retain the basic Google website can have the Google Instant feature turned off by checking on that link that comes next to search box.
Again to lessen chances of having inappropriate material popped up for young surfers, Google programmed its Instant feature to block anything deemed inappropriate, pornographic, violent or hateful.
