A couple of days back Google pronounced that they will buy from NextEra Energy.
NextEra will supply href=”http://www.google.com/” rel=”nofollow”>Google with about 114 million watts of energy. The power is generated by NextEra Energy from renewable sources like windmill farms in the Mid-West.
Critiques believe that it is a smart thinking byGoogle to go for a renewable source, so it can safeguard from energy tax as well as emission tax that will come forth soon. Not just that, the Google protecting will have excess energy credits that it can offload or outsource.
When the times have come where investing in fossil fuels has been costlier than ever before and the demand for power continues to increase, investing now in the renewable energy is a street smart choice that the Google is employing; to be in a place where they will not be levied with energy and emission taxes and to have a reliable source that they invest now and sell in the future.
Rest of the world…take some cues here.
