Indonesia volcano erupts again and alert level increased
People near Mount Sinabung stayed off their homes fearing another volcanic eruption on Saturday, September 04, 2010.
After another significant eruption on Friday people scurreyed back to the evacuation homes tha they left in the hope of no more eruptions. Friday’s eruption has been the strongest one with the ash plumes reaching over 3,000 meters high.
Mount Sinabung had been lying calm dormant for about four centuries now until it erupted last week. Since then there were about three eruptions of the volcano ,and the uncertainty expressed by volcanologists and scientists prompted Indonesia officials to increase the alert level near the Mount Sinabung.
