Its official Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren divorce

It’s official that American Golfer and his Swedish wife divorce. The attorneys announce it officially that Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren have divorced. Lawyers from both sides put the joint statement of Woods and Elin Nordegren -
“We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future. While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us.”
Although the parting of assets hasn’t been included in the divorce filing, it is learnt that 30-year-old Nordegren may get about $650 million. And both Woods and Elin agreed to share custody of their children. Woods and Nordegren have two kids; 3-year-old Sam Alexis and 1-year-old Charlie Axel.
Woods married then Swedish model Elin Nordegren in 2004 and their marriage looked a smooth sail till 2009 Thanksgiving when Woods crashed his car near his Orlando home; then on it was steady fall from grace for Woods.
The marriage was torn due to the golfer’s extra-marital affairs with more than a dozen women. The scandal left Tiger Woods losing millions of dollars from three giant sponsors; Accenture, Gatorade and AT&T and Gatorade. Besides, the damage to Woods’ image has become sort of irreparable. Woods also took a therapy to salvage the marriage at one clinic in Mississippi.
Woods will play at The Barclays this week, and he got to enhance his performance to extending PGA Tour season. He is to prove why he deserves to be picked for the Ryder Cup too. He is yet to give that comeback show, and The Barclays though will be Woods’ golf tournament after separation.
Tiger Woods was reported to have once remarked that his 30s would be even better than his 20s.
