Pop star George Michael pleads guilty of DUI and gets 8 weeks jail sentence

British pop singer George Michael was given an 8 weeks jail sentence for DUI.
According to the court records George Michael pleaded guilty of driving under the influence of drugs as well as possessing controlled substance, cannabis and alleged manslaughter.
The pop star’s DL also gets suspended for 5 years, and additionally he was asked to pay a penalty of $2,000.
BBC reports that the pop star will spend 4 weeks in prison and it is expected that the other part of his sentence he will be under the supervision of the probation service.
He was arrested after DUI car crash wreckage in July 2010 and pleads guilty of the charges.
