Yahoo Japan befriends Google

In what one can say a rare collaboration, Yahoo! Inc. and
Google will team up.
Yahoo! Japan is the biggest Internet portal operator and search engine in Japan, announced on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 that it will team up with its rival Google, to power its own search engine as well as search advertizing platform. It should be learnt here that the Google’s share of Internet search in Japan is seeing a good growth in the recent times although trails the Yahoo! Japan which leads the search engine market.
The new partnership between Yahoo! Japan and Googlewill hopefully create a
super search power incorporating Google’s latest search technology and the Yahoo Japan’s content as well as services. The financial terms of the collaboration were not revealed as yet.
