Michael Douglas diagnosed with throat cancer

Hollywood actor Michael Douglas was diagnosed with a tumor in his throat.
‘People’ reported that Douglas was recommended to take eight weeks of chemotherapy and radiation treatment for the throat cancer.
The actor’s representative told the People magazine that the doctors expect that the 65-year-old actor will have a good recovery from the treatment for his throat cancer.
Douglas was quoted of saying, “I am very optimistic.”
Douglas’ Wall Street sequel, ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’ is slated for a September 24th release. Douglas’ action in the Wall Street movie won him an Oscar in 1987 and his lead role in the sequel is expected to dish out best of the Douglas.
Husband to Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas has a 10-year-old son and a 7-year-old daughter with Zeta-Jones and 31-year-old son, Cameron Douglas from his previous relationship with Diandra Douglas.
