Jessica Simpson is the latest person being rumored as possible judge figure. A source says that Jessica Simpson had been approached by the American Idol team, although there isn’t any confirmation from both the ends.
Should Simpson come as the judge, she will still not be the fulltime replacement to Simon Cowell as both have different personas, and viewers can expect more opinions from more judges.
