Japanese spy satellite deployed to monitor DPRK goes off commission

A Japanese spy satellite that was commissioned to monitor the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea any time of the day has suddenly been off commission according to Tokyo Media.

The Center for Satellite Intelligence for the Government, says that the radar system of the spy satellite that was commissioned into orbit during February 2007, went out of the commission this week and later the satellite had gone out of order totally.

The experts are working on restoring the radar system via remote control, although the chances for it seem remote. The radar system of the spy satellite was to live for 5 years i.e., until 2012.

The off commissioning of the spy satellite has come in the most wrong time report Japanese Journalists as the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea work on missile development and other nuclear programs, and China too expanding military capabilities.

Japan has deployed 3 spy satellites to monitor the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and among these one has almost become defunct.

It should be noted that the three spy satellites have been fitted with optical devices, such as sensors and cameras.
