Right to food a fundamental human right?

Both Hindus and Jews demanded that UN declare Right to Food as fundamental human right.

Rajan Zed and Rabbi Jonathan B. Freirich; one an popular Hindu statesman the latter leader of Jews said in their combined World Food Day statement revealed in Nevada that it becomes immoral for rest of the world watch almost a sixth of humanity suffer from perils of hunger day and still are clueless without a solution.

Both Rajan Zed (the President of Universal Society of Hinduism) and Rabbi Jonathan B. Freirich, said that the number of hungry people by this year would be at an estimated 105 million and the number of malnourished people at 1.02 billion.

The two further said that besides governments and agencies like United Nations, even the private sector and religions should join hands to come with a solution. Right to Food as fundamental human right should probably alleviate the problem at least to a some extent.
