US to sign $60 billion arms deal with Saudi Arabia

US eyes at $60 billion arms deal with Saudi; the largest deal if it achieves in the recent times selling arms to any foreign nation.
The deal has recently added Apache and the Black Hawks (attacking choppers) worth $30 billions to the already inked deal package that include F-15 fighter jets (84 numbers).
If the deal finalizes then it’d be a big thing for Boeing Company too; the maker of Apache Helicopters as well as the F-15 fighter jets. However, the sale will go phase wise in the coming decade in four increments.
The talks of Saudi with the US regarding the arms deal resulted in some fears in Israel as it looks to retain military competency and edge. And the Obama’s Administration has reassured Israel that Saudi will not be sold cutting-edge technology or the long-range missiles as part of the deal.
It should be noted that the Saudi Arabia has been increasing its expenditure on arms and has spent over $37 billion dollars during the last seven years between 2001 and 2008.
