Tylenol makers recall pediatric Tylenol liquid products

Pediatric Tylenol liquid product lots between April and June 2009 are recalled. Pediatric Tylenol liquid products (for children and infants) are recalled, according to McNeil Consumer Healthcare, the Tylenol manufacturers.
According to the company the product lots between April and June 2009 did not pass quality screening by the company.
However, children’s Tylenol Meltaways and Junior Strength Tylenol Meltaways do not fall in these categories, the company says.
All of the consumers, especially caregivers and parents who’d given the Tylenol acetaminophen liquid products belonging to these lots and having questions regarding the same can contact the McNeil Consumer Healthcare Company at 800-962-5357. Also the company requests consumers to bring in to their notice any concerns regarding the products and ill effects if any.
