One of the all-time tennis greats Andre Agassi has admitted of testing positive for taking hard drugs during his career. He admits he lied to the tennis sporting authority to get away with a ban in his serialised autobiography ‘Open.’
Agassi, who holds 8 Grand Slam titles in his name, revealed in his autobiography Open that he tested positive for the addictive drug, crystal methamphetamine, however, got away without any penalty.
The 39-year-old flamboyant star also made a revelation to shock the tennis fans that he secretly hated playing the game and lived in constant fear of his bad-tempered father. He revealed that he made the ATP believe that the possession of drug with him was by accident. He took to crystal meth first time in 1997 when he felt a slipping of his career and had doubts about his marrying Brooke Shields whom he was dating that time.

If Agassi is trying to use a scandal to sell more books, I think it might backfire on him
It will, and there is no necessity for such a revelation from a person like Agassi, there were many who were fond of this guy before he confessed, maybe not now!
