Champions League Twenty20 2010 launched

Champions League Twenty20 2010 was officially launched on Tuesday, August 11, 2010 at a function attended by Cricket South Africa officials including the President Dr. Mtutuzeli Nyoka and Secretary Gerald Majola.
Other guests at the function included the retired star spinner Muttiah Muralitharan and the Champions League Twenty20 CEO Sundar Raman.
The CSA President, Secretary and the CEO of the CL T20 unveiled this year’s trophy. Champions League second edition will be held in South Africa and there will be 10 teams vying for the $6 million prize money. In all there will be 23 matches played between September 10, 2010 and September 26, 2010.
