Nicolas Sebastien Anelka, the disgraced France footballer has been slapped by the French Football Federation (FFF), with, what could be an end to his career; an 18-match ban. The ban comes for his show at the FIFA World Cup 2010.
Anelka had been sent back home from South Africa after he had a tussle with the team coach Raymond Domenech. Saddened by what was done to Anelka, the playing squad opposed and showed anger to the team management by staying off one training session during the World Cup.
The team captain Patrice Evra also has been slapped with a ban for 5 matches for the disgrace and Franck Ribery received 3 and Jeremy Toulalan received 1 match bans, respectively.
