Paul the Octopus hired by England’s 2018 World Cup bid team

Paul the octopus took away as much attention as the Soccer teams at FIFA 2010 in South Africa. Paul became popular by rightly predicting the results of all Germany’s matches at this year’s World Cup. No wonder Paul made many fans across the world.

Paul has now hit headlines by getting hired as an ambassador by England’s 2018 world cup bid team.

According to Nicola Hamilton, Manager, Weymouth Sea Life Center although Paul became more popular by predicting results of Germany’s matches from the aquarium in Oberhausen, Germany, he is English born and he was hatched at the Weymouth Sea Life Center in 2008, south coast England.

So makes sense for the Paul to be hired as ambassador by England’s 2018 world cup bid team
