Nokia sues Apple over patent infringement

The Finnish phone maker, Nokia, sues Apple against an infringement issue. Nokia filed a suit against Apple at a district court in US, for patent infringement that involved the iPhone.

According to the Finnish phone manufacturer, these patents include GSM, UMTS, wireless LAN, security, data transfer through wireless networks, encryption and UMTS.

Nokia alleges Apple that it should have sought permission from them and paid in royalty to use these technologies in its iPhone handset.

It seems the Finnish phone giant is looking to seek a patent royalty of about 1-2 per cent (which could be equated to $6 to $12) on every iPhone.

Shutter Island movie preview
Adaptation of Dennis Lehane novel ‘Shutter Island’ the film is about two US Marshals Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio), and Chuck Aule who go to Shutter Island to find the mystery of disappearance of a psychic murderess, Rachel Solando. She had been sentenced to a prison for mentally ill for the cannibal act she does on her 3 kids; killing them and having their bodies as food. Rachel Solando however, runs out of the Ashecliffe Mental Institution.

The two believe that the murderess must be hiding in the remote Shutter Island. Teddy obliges to go to the Institution to settle a score with a person who is in there as prisoner. The man Andre Laeddis is his wife’s killer. While the institution says it has only 66 prisoners, it is Teddy who comes through Rachel Solando’s code that it has 67 people and believes that the 67th man is Andre Laeddis for sure. The 2 marshals unlock several mysteries and horrors within the institution.

However, there is another twist here for Teddy Daniels coming to the hospital. It is a plot by the doctors in the institution. The Marshall could probably disclose the truth about the Ashecliffe Mental Insititution and the cruel surgeries they perform on the inmates. But can the 2 marshals do that will be the climax and you can expect incredible picturization of Shutter Island as I believe it will go to Oscar in several categories.
