Actress Farrah Fawcett, who became more popular after her “Charlie’s Angels,” role died on Thursday battling with her cancer. Farrahs longtime buddy Ryan O’Neal confirmed the news. Farrah was aged 62 years.

Farrah Fawcett breathed her last in the hospital amidst all her friends and surrounded by her family on Thursday morning around 9:30 am.

She is regarded as a darling by her fans and cancer survivors for her long standing battle with the cancer.

Although Farrah’s death made millions of her fans upset and grieving, she left the world with a feel good factor for several people around the world, especially the cancer affected.

Ryan O’Neal was quoted of saying, “I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much. She was in and out of consciousness. I talked to her all through the night, before she died.

Farrah Fawcett’s “Charlie’s Angels” co-star Jaclyn Smith said, “now she has peace and she rests with the real angels.”

According to reports, Ryan O’Neal and Alana Stewart both were with Farrah Fawcett at her bedside as the star passed away at the St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica.

Alana Stewart was quoted of saying “no words to express the deep sense of loss that I feel, for 30 years, Farrah was much more than a friend, she was my sister, and although I will miss her terribly, I know in my heart that she will always be there as that angel on the shoulder of everyone who loved her.”

Sadly, earlier this week Ryan O’Neal revealed that he planned to marry Farrah and he said, “I have asked her to marry me, again, and she has agreed.”

The two; Farrah and O’Neal have romantically been involved for a close 3 decades time, did not marry though.

It was during late 70s that Farrah Fawcett emerged a pop icon after people loved her “Charlie’s Angels” role. It was after her split with her husband from 1982 that she had been romancing with the actor Ryan O’Neal.
