Chinese authorities said that about 9.5 tonnes of defective mooncakes were found. As China celebrates the mid-autumn festival the defective mooncakes sends another food safety scare across the country.

According to the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), Brussels, India to have most diabetes patients in the world; a projected 50.8 million diabetics by 2010. The figure makes India diabetics’ capital of the world.

China announced today (September 29, 2009) that their space researchers completed 3D lunar mapping in the highest resolution ever possible.
The moon map comprised the entire moon surface and is based on the imagery information obtained from the CCD (charge-coupled device) stereo camera that was taken by the Chinese lunar probe vehicle, Chang’e-1.
