Rich Ross will be Walt Disney Studios Chairman

Rich Ross the President of Disney Channels all over has been named the Chairman of Walt Disney Studios. The announcement was made by the CEP and Disney President Robert Iger.

Rich Ross will take over as Chairman of the Walt Disney Studios vacated by former Chairman Dick Cook.

Dick Cook stepped out of the Disney Studios after serving it for over 38 years. In his new role as the Chairman Walt Disney Studios, Rich Ross will oversee the production, distribution as well as marketing worldwide for all live-action as well as feature-animated movie labels which include Walt Disney, Miramax, Touchstone, and Pixar.

Ross will also head the Disney theater and music groups.
