Sebastian Vettel- Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Winner 2009

Sebastian Vettel finishes first at the Yas Marina circuit, in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The race at the desert track is indeed the last race for this season of Formula One but the first day-night race of the season.

The German indeed started off impressively and continued his tempo until the last lap. The Red Bull driver finished ahead of his team mate Australian driver Mark Webber. Lewis Hamilton although had taken on pole and did start great had to retire with utter disappointment in between the race due to unforeseen technical snags that his car developed at the Yas Marina circuit.

The Yas Marina circuit although had been newly constructed track had all challenges for the drivers and no it’s an easy one if one assumed. The track with the weather here had all challenges for the drivers of the ranks of Hamiltons or Vettels.

The race at the Yas Marina circuit at Abu Dhabi concludes the season of Formula One 2009.

Spaniard Fernando Alonso didn’t finish in the top eight but he had for the last time drove his Renault car. He will be heading to Ferrari the next season. He will fondly remember the team from which he rose and excelled even though he bids adieu to his Alma Mater.

This had also been the 70th and the last race for team BMW Sauber who announced to withdraw from the Formula One. It might have left them in some memories for the team and the respective drivers.

Vettel finished first, Mark Webber finished second and Jenson Button who had been this years Formula One champion driver did come third in the race. Rest of the five who finished include:
Rubens Barrichello
Nick Heidfeld
Kobayashi
Jarno Trulli
Buemi
