First Lady, Michelle Obama hosted Healthy Kids Fair on Wednesday at White House.
The First Lady Michelle Obama promoted awareness about healthy diet among children during the Healthy Kids Fair that she hosted at White House South Lawn in Washington on Wednesday.
Surprising many and pleasing many the First Lady had taken up to host the Healthy Kids Fair to the cause of healthy eating habits, especially in children.
She promoted awareness of healthy eating habits which kind of rule out high-calorie sweets, cheese stuff and soda. First Lady’s message although triggered anguish among food industry groups, her cause did make a sense in the wake of the American culture that had gotten addict and damaging children with unhealthy eating style and habits. But definitely better than former First Lady Laura Bush did; promote reading.
Among the several problems faced by the countrymen, health has been one embarrassing situation needed immediate addressing. Several people appreciated Michelle’s initiative though have their own doubt if ever it will kind of bring any difference.
If US is considering healthcare plan, surely it makes sense to keep getting the message of healthy eating habits drilled into the minds of Americans because health is directly proprortional to diet taken. And let Michelle spread the message to children about taking vegetables as their friends!
