Samsung Electronics will start large scale production of melting memory chips

While memory chips may not be very exciting, the technology that is entailed here might be of interest to nerds. According to Samsung Electronics these are specialty chips called the melting memory chips wherein data is stored by melting and/or freezing crystals.
