British actress Kate Winslet and American first lady Michelle Obama feature in the red carpet list of the best dressed women of 2009.
While Kate Winslet tops the pack, Michelle was placed at the 5th spot, according to People.
The red carpet list was released last Wednesday and the 33-year-old sexy Brit leads the pack Michelle has been adjudged as the “best accessible glamour” and put at the 5th spot.
Kate who also won Oscar for her role in “The Reader” was deemed to be a symbol of sophistication and contemporary Hollywood glamour. Kim Kardashian was deemed to sport best bikinis and Knowles Beyonce wins the best street chic comment.
According to the People magazine, Reese Witherspoon is the one to have best short dresses and Vanessa Hudgens to be the best hippie chic and Freida Pinto (The Oscar-winning Indian movie Slumdog Millionaire fame starlet) for best use of color.
Brad Pitt, Robert Pattinson, and Bradley Cooper were amongst the best-dressed men of the year. And the teen country singer Taylor Swift was deemed to be the “best sparkle.”
People also gave a look at some of the flop dressed people of 2009 and former “American Idol” judge Paula Abdul and Renee Zellweger were deemed to feature worst red carpet dresses.

The incredibly talented ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ fame Susan Boyle finished recording first track for her forthcoming album, reports People. After getting some break after ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ tour Susan Boyle went ahead to record track for first song for her album along with Got Talent judge Simon Cowell.
It seems Simon Cowell told People magazine, that Susan sounded fantastic. Simon Cowell also told People that they will take time to bring their album well.
