Here is a mobile phone for the hearing shy and the elderly. Imagine a mobile phone that blares as loud as a vuvuzela? Aint you wondering how it can help the seniors at your home? Guys at Amplicom thought about it and made one.

A new mobile Aplicom M6000 was launched into the market. The M6000 is a perfect mobile for your grandparents because of the loud ringtone it can give to help them with their hearing.

Amplicom M6000 emits 100 decibels of sound perfect for the hearing impaired and the elderly. The phone lacks complicated features and devised with large buttons (obviously making it suitable for even the sight shy) and compatible with hearing aids. Amplicom M6000 product manager David Youngs is hearing shy himself said that people with hearing difficulties can make calls on the M6000 without having to wear the hearing aid. Although the earpiece volume of the Amplicom M6000 is set at 30 decibels but the boost up function enables it to enhance to as much as 110 decibels (equating to the noise emitted by a South African vuvuzela).

Amplicom M6000, however, puts off those people who are nerdy and loves a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth or camera or music.
