Atom-based Nokia Netbook Set for the Q3 launch?

Nokia has a huge handset market, but lately we have heard that the handset maker is foraying into the Netbook market too. It is in this context that both Nokia and Intel formed a technical collaboration although we weren’t too sure about the products that might come from the collaboration.
Should rumors be taken seriously, then the Finnish phone manufacturer and Intel are working on netbooks with Intel Atom processor. It seems the Finnish phone maker ordered some machines from Taiwanese OEMs Compal and Quanta, both of which manufactured equipment for many netbook brands we see in the market today.
It is also rumored that Nokia netbook (a Nokiabook) will only have the Intel Atom processor and Compal is slated to be the architect for designing the Qualcomm snapdragon based Nokia smartbook. So far, there is no clue as to the Operating system of the netbook (a Maemo? maybe), but rumors flying thick that the netbook will be launched during Q3 2009.
