Dell launches its first US Android powered smartphone Dell Aero

Dell unveiled its first US smartphone on Tuesday, seeking its share in the smartphone market.
Named Dell Aero, the smartphone runs on the Google Android operating system. The Aero will cost a, will cost $99 on a 2-year contract with the AT&T network. The Dell’s smartphone comes with neat and impressive features including a 3.5 inches touchscreen display a 5.0-megapixel camera.
The Dell Aero smartphone also comes with connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and with the built-in Twitter, Facebook and Youtube users can connect to friends and start expressing. Other specifications include processor with 624 Mhz speed and the Dell Aero weighs only 104 grams making it one of the lightest smartphones at the moment.
There is one let down by the Dell Aero; the Android 1.5 version which is old and outdated. When other smartphone makers are looking at 2.1 version of the Android it behooves why Dell has opted for an Android 1.5 version.
