Google launches Priority Inbox in the Gmail to reduce woes

Google will launch what is called as Priority Inbox for Gmail users today.
The new feature is especially for those who manage huge email; the priority inbox will change the interface of you gmail inbox now.

The Gmail priority inbox is basically an algorithm wherein the information including keywords, most popular contacts that you mail as well as your mailing habit so you can chose to read the important emails in the inbox, brought about to the top and you can sift through them on a priority basis.

The priority inbox also helps in highlighting mail items important and or not important.

The Gmail filters can also be used to mark the messages as important and unimportant.

The new feature will come into effect from today and it will be as a menu icon link above the Inbox link. Watch the video here:

So the best part here; the priority inbox will not indicate unread inbox items but just those mails that need to be read urgently, as “important and unread.” Cool aint?

Reading unwanted mails take away as much as 15% of your mail time and the search engine major has worked to come up with the priority inbox- now just do your math.

While the priority inbox may not be the end-of-the-world solution to gmail woes, it certainly is a step in that direction by the Google
