Hewlett Packard: IT will soon be on track of growth

According to Hewlett Packard Co. Chief Executive Officer Mark Hurd, the IT industry growth which has hit a slump lately will be back on growth track in 2010.
He was speaking to his staff during HP’s analyst meeting on Thursday and said that IT industry will witness growth soon; in 2010. The CEO expects that IT will bounce back during maybe coming fiscal year.
HP stated that tech companies will look forward to corporate hardware cycle and it will probably begin during 2010, as companies will switch to newer machines and latest equipments.
HP CEO’s opinions are further seconded by other IT majors as well. Dave Dewalt, McAfee Inc. CEO Dave said along same lines to Reuters that he could foresee a rise in technology spending from 2010.
However, RIM (the Blackberry maker) sounded caution and foresees a fall.
It shoudl be noted that Hewlett Packard Co. now stands at 2 after IBM.
