Nokia N8 launch date and price announced

Finnish phone maker Nokia has revealed the launch date and price of their forthcoming multimedia handset N8.
The Nokia N8 is regarded as the Finnish cellphone maker’s flagship handset, and from September 15, 2010, it can be purchased. The feature-packed Nokia N8 comes at an impressive price of $549.
The N8 is a device with great tempting specs in fact– with 3.5-inch capacitive AMOLED touchscreen handset, the multimedia friendly mobile sports a 12-MP camera which can record HD video too. But more than that the Nokia N8 comes with a new Symbian^3 OS. The handset also comes with every connectivity option available (HDMI cable). Sources at Nokia confirm that the N8 handset will be traded with a $549 price tag, and seems a great deal for a multimedia power packed handset.
More about the new Symbian^3 OS when we lay our hands on the handset. The fact that Nokia is running a preorder on the N8 before it is launched, and much demand and curiosity built around the smartphone, can it beat the hell out of the other smartphones around?
I know this is old news but honestly im still hurting from my decision to purchase this phone. The price was about the same as the iphone but I chose this one just because of the HDMI out. I haven’t used that feature once and I’m stuck with a reaaaallllyyy sub par UI.
