Nokia N97 Mini for 640 clams from October

Nokia has taken customer feedback seriously and they are coming up with a scaled down version of their super model Nokia N97, looks like.
Nokia is launching Nokia N97 Mini which will be a lot cheaper than its big brother Nokia N97.
While the N97 appealed one and all, it came with heavy price tag that deterred several people from owning it.
Nokia have worked on the possibilities of a smaller version of it, and they are now coming with N97 Mini. So if not earlier here is your chance to lay your hands on the cute mini version of the N97..
As regards the technical specifications, the Nokia N97 Mini features a 3.2 inches touchscreen display with a full QWERTY keyboard. The home screen is totally customizable and the 5-MP camera is loaded with Carl Zeiss optics and a dual LED flash. The handset has an internal memory of 8GBs and you can add 16GBs through microSD slot. The other tech specs are expected to be same as the larger version of N97. However, if rumors are to be taken seriously the Nokia N97 Mini will cost at least 150 clams lesser than the original Nokia N97 that actually substantiates the reduced size, memory and add on features including no cover on the optics and also probably tweaked keyboard.
The Nokia N97 Mini will be up the shelves during October 2009 for about $640. So, if you are a Nokia touchscreen phone lover, the N97 Mini could just be yours while not being harsh on your pocket.
i was planning for a new N97 by this month end but after reading your article i decided to wait 1 more month and go for the mini
I believe it should be worthy waiting for the N97 Mini…. Praveen! The only thing that put me off actually is the reduced memory in N97 Mini if not the size…..Nokia should have retained the memory same as the Nokia N97.
I really love my Nokia N97. It is styles and very functional. The features of the Nokia N97 is so cool.

the Nokia N97 is very stylish and more rugged than the N91. I own both the N91 and N97, both are good phones but i like the style of the N97
